Amaravati, April 6 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, extended his congratulations to the residents of the state for achieving the second-highest growth rate in the nation for the fiscal year 2024-25.
Taking to ‘X’, the Chief Minister emphasized that Andhra Pradesh is on an upward trajectory.
According to the most recent statistics from the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, Government of India, our state has recorded an impressive 8.21 percent growth rate for 2024–25, marking it as the second highest in the country, trailing only Tamil Nadu at 9.69 percent. In under a year since the government was formed, our initiatives have transitioned Andhra Pradesh from a condition of hardship to one of growth and renewed optimism,” he stated.
“This advancement is attributed to a widespread recovery in agriculture, manufacturing, and services, coupled with significant investments in sectors such as IT, electronics, automobiles, and renewable energy. I commend the people of Andhra Pradesh for this collective success. Together, let’s continue striving for a brighter future,” he remarked.
The data from the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation underscores that Andhra Pradesh has achieved a remarkable 8.21 percent growth rate, positioned just behind Tamil Nadu, which leads with 9.69 percent.
