Amaravati, April 6 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, expressed his congratulations to the citizens of the state for achieving the second-highest growth rate in the country for the financial year 2024-25.
On the social media platform 'X', the Chief Minister declared that Andhra Pradesh is on the rise.
He stated, "According to the latest information from the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, Government of India, our state has achieved an impressive 8.21 percent growth rate for 2024–25, making it the second highest in India. Within less than a year of taking charge, our policies have transitioned Andhra Pradesh from distress to a state of growth and renewed optimism," he posted.
"This remarkable progress has been fueled by a comprehensive revival in agriculture, manufacturing, and services, along with substantial investments in IT, electronics, automobiles, and renewable energy. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the people of Andhra Pradesh for this collective accomplishment. Together, let us strive to create a brighter future," he added.
The data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation shows that Andhra Pradesh achieved a noteworthy 8.21 percent growth rate, second only to Tamil Nadu, which topped the list with 9.69 percent. This growth is particularly apparent in the manufacturing, services, and agriculture sectors.
The state government asserts that it is nurturing a business-friendly environment through efficient procedures, transparent regulations, and policies geared towards investors.
Furthermore, the state has been acknowledged as a leading performer in executing the Business Reforms Action Plan (BRAP).
