Amaravati, July 24 (NationPress) The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet convened on Thursday to endorse a transformative electronics manufacturing policy designed to enhance the pace of business and attract substantial domestic and international investments in the electronics components landscape.
Under the Electronic Components Manufacturing Policy 4.0 (2025-30), companies focusing on electronics component manufacturing that invest in the state will be eligible for advance incentives, matching incentives, interim support mechanisms, and fully equipped manufacturing facilities in dedicated clusters.
Additionally, firms can avail incentives and concessions tailored for mega projects, leading to significant job creation in regions like Sri City near Tirupati, Orvakal near Kurnool, Kopparthi, and Hindupur.
During the Cabinet meeting led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, investment proposals worth approximately Rs 80,000 crore were greenlit.
Minister for Information and Public Relations, Kolusu Parthasarathi, informed the media that these investment initiatives are anticipated to generate employment opportunities for around 1.50 lakh individuals.
The Cabinet also sanctioned the allocation of 4.45 acres of land to Phenom People Private Limited in the IT Park at Madhurawada, Rushikonda Non-SEZ zone, in the Visakhapatnam district, combined with incentives under the AP IT & GCC Policy (4.0) 2024-29 for a project featuring an investment of Rs 207.5 crore, creating 2,500 jobs.
Furthermore, the Cabinet approved the allocation of 3.6 acres at Madhurawada for Sify Infinite Spaces Limited at Rs 1 crore per acre and 50 acres at Paradesipalem at Rs 50 lakh per acre, facilitating an investment of Rs 16,466 crore and 600 employment opportunities.
This strategic initiative is poised to position Visakhapatnam as a pivotal data hub, attracting technology-driven organizations and enhancing the state's capabilities in cloud computing, data storage, and digital services, according to the minister.
Sattva Developers Private Limited is set to receive 30 acres at Madhurawada, Visakhapatnam through APIIC at a subsidized rate of Rs 1.50 crore per acre, with incentives for a proposed investment of Rs 1,500 crore, expected to create 25,000 jobs.
The Cabinet also agreed to allot two parcels of land of 2.5 acres and 7.79 acres to ANSR Global Corporation Private Limited at Madhurawada, Visakhapatnam, extending incentives for a planned investment of Rs 1,000 crore, creating 10,000 jobs.
BVM Energy and Residency Private Limited will be allocated 30 acres of land at Yendada village, Visakhapatnam district, through the APIIC at Rs 1.5 crores per acre, with incentives for a proposed investment of Rs 1,250 crores, which is expected to create 15,000 jobs.
