Amaravati, May 20 (NationPress) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is set to participate in the NITI Aayog Government Council meeting during his three-day trip to New Delhi starting May 22.

During this visit, the Chief Minister will engage with multiple Union Ministers and is also scheduled to converse with various industrialists about potential investments in the state, as per an official announcement.

On May 24, he will join the NITI Aayog Governing Council Meeting at Bharat Mandapam, returning to Amaravati that same evening.

The meeting will be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who serves as the Chairman of NITI Aayog. The governing council comprises the Chief Ministers from all states, the Lieutenant Governors of Union Territories, along with several central ministers.

As the leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), a significant ally of the BJP-led NDA government, Naidu is expected to request special support from NITI Aayog for Andhra Pradesh.

He may present details regarding various initiatives being undertaken by the state government and ask the body for enhanced assistance.

Earlier in February, Naidu appealed to NITI Aayog for backing in realizing the Swarnandhra vision of having one AI professional and one entrepreneur in each family.

Additionally, Naidu requested NITI Aayog's cooperation in providing technological support and in executing new policies.

He informed Bery about the ambitious target set for 2047, aiming for a $2.4 trillion economy with a 15 percent annual growth rate and an average per capita income of $42,000.

Naidu expressed optimism that with NITI Aayog's support, the state could become a model for Viksith Bharat-2047.

While in the national capital, the Chief Minister will also meet various Union Ministers to discuss diverse issues and developmental projects in Andhra Pradesh.
