Amaravati, Dec 24 (NationPress) Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu have extended their congratulations to the scientists at ISRO for the triumphant launch of the LVM3-M6 mission from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre located in Sriharikota on Wednesday, successfully placing the BlueBird-6 Satellite into orbit.
Governor Nazeer expressed that the LVM3 mission, which carried the BlueBird Block-2 satellite, a cutting-edge communication satellite, signifies a remarkable achievement for the nation as it represents the heaviest satellite ever launched from Indian territory.
He noted that this mission adds yet another accolade to ISRO and conveyed his wishes for many more successful missions in the future.
Chief Minister Naidu also took to 'X' to commend Team ISRO on the successful launch of LVM3-M6 from Sriharikota, which carried the US communication satellite BlueBird Block-2 and placed it accurately into its designated orbit.
"Launching the heaviest satellite from Indian soil is a proud milestone that further enhances our nation's commercial space capabilities and establishes it as a reliable global launch partner. Best wishes to all scientists, engineers, and everyone who contributed to this extraordinary mission," he posted.
State Human Resources Development and Information Technology Minister Nara Lokesh also expressed heartfelt congratulations to the diligent scientists and staff at ISRO for the successful launch of the 'LVM3-M' rocket, known as the 'Bahubali' rocket, from Sriharikota.
"This is a significant advancement in showcasing India's commercial launch capabilities to the global community. I wish ISRO continued successes in the days ahead," he stated.
Former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party president Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also congratulated ISRO and its committed team on the successful LVM3M6 / BlueBird Block-2 mission.
"Successfully placing the satellite into its intended orbit is a proud moment for India, showcasing our scientific excellence. A salute to the scientists and engineers whose dedication continues to inspire the nation," Jagan remarked.
