Appointment of Governors Across Five States by the President

New Delhi, Dec 24 (NationPress) The President Secretariat has officially announced the appointment of Governors for five states.
According to a press release from the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the President has designated Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati, the current Governor of Mizoram, to take on the role of Governor of Odisha.
The statement further disclosed that General (Dr) Vijay Kumar Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM (Retd.), has been appointed as the new Governor of Mizoram.
Additionally, Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, who is the Governor of Bihar, has been selected to serve as the Governor of Kerala.
The President has also reassigned Arif Mohammed Khan, presently the Governor of Kerala, to the position of Governor of Bihar.
In another significant appointment, former Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla has been assigned as the Governor of Manipur.
The press release clarified that these appointments will become effective once the respective officials assume their duties.
Furthermore, it was stated that the President has accepted the resignation of Raghubar Das, the outgoing Governor of Odisha.
