Kolkata, May 13 (NationPress) The West Bengal Police confirmed on Tuesday that they have detained an individual believed to be associated with the extremist group Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind in Bishnipur, located in the Bankura district.
The detained individual has been identified as Mostaq Mondal, a resident of the isolated Bogdohra village in Bankura district.
On Tuesday afternoon, he was presented before a district court, which subsequently remanded him to police custody for three days.
