Srinagar, Oct 16 (NationPress) The J&K Police announced on Thursday the apprehension of two individuals in the Budran Magam area of Baramulla district, who were found in possession of posters from the banned terrorist organization, The Resistance Front (TRF).

According to police reports, the suspects were initially detained during a routine check at a ‘Naka’ (checkpost) in Budran Magam, where multiple posters from the banned group were discovered in their belongings.

Officials stated, “The duo had more than 18 posters related to the banned organization.”

The individuals were identified as Muzamil Ahmad Bhat and Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar, both natives of Aripanthan Magam.

The police confirmed, “A case has been filed, and further inquiries are underway.”

The J&K Police, alongside security forces, has intensified operations against terrorism in the region, targeting not only terrorists but also their associates, sympathizers, and those involved in drug trafficking or hawala money schemes.
