The ball is now in the court of the states to seize this golden opportunity."
The state government is once again gearing up for the Global Investors Summit to highlight its strategies aimed at attracting investment and fostering growth in Madhya Pradesh.
With just a week remaining until the Global Investors Summit, the excitement is building for this grand event. The state capital, Bhopal, is being carefully prepared to host Prime Minister Modi and a host of business elites on February 24th and 25th at the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, which is an open-air museum in Bhopal.
The Prime Minister is expected to introduce several new policies, as revealed by a senior government official to IANS.
The response to GIS 2025 has been tremendous, with the state government website now closed for new registrations; an impressive total of 31,659 registrations have been collected across various categories, with 18,736 participants having confirmed their attendance.
The summit is anticipated to draw delegates from 60 countries, including 10 ambassadors, 8 high commissioners, and 7 consulate generals, alongside 133 leading international industrialists and CEOs, according to the official.
The venue will also host a special village that showcases products from the "One District, One Product" (ODOP) initiative.
Numerous business moguls from across the nation, who have served as guests of honour at past summits, are once again being invited to partake in this grand occasion.
The summit aims to attract foreign direct investment and will feature confirmed speakers that include renowned business personalities.
In a high-level meeting in Bhopal, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav underscored the importance of demonstrating the event's potential to furnish investors with the certainty and assurance needed to further accelerate the state's economic growth.
