Bhopal, Jan 22 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, announced on Wednesday that following the successful organization of over six Regional Industrial Conclaves (RIC) across Madhya Pradesh, his administration has initiated preparations for the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal, which is scheduled to begin on February 24.

Chief Minister Yadav emphasized that to fulfill the objectives of the Global Investors Summit, his government plans to extend invitations to all prominent business entities throughout the nation.

He expressed his optimism regarding the upcoming Global Investors Summit in Bhopal.

The Global Investors Summit is set to take place under the auspices of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 24 in Bhopal, making it imperative for me to invite all major business corporations from across the country. I am confident that Madhya Pradesh will experience significant growth in the coming years,” he stated before departing for Pune to engage with investors.

He mentioned that the state government has received investment proposals exceeding Rs. 4.5 lakh crore, which is anticipated to create job opportunities for more than 3.5 lakh youth in Madhya Pradesh.

This session, led by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, aims to engage directly with industry leaders and investors while emphasizing the state’s welcoming environment for investors.

On Tuesday, senior officials from the Madhya Pradesh government reviewed the arrangements for the Global Investors Summit (GIS), which will be held in Bhopal on February 24-25.

Chief Secretary Anurag Jain and Director General of Police Kailash Makwana led the inspection of the summit venue at Indira Gandhi Manav Sangrahalaya and evaluated related preparations, providing necessary guidance.

The Chief Secretary received updates on the arrangements being made for the visit of the Prime Minister, who will inaugurate the two-day summit.

Interestingly, prior to this, the Madhya Pradesh government organized a total of seven Regional Industrial Conclaves (RIC) over the past year. The inaugural RIC took place in Chief Minister Yadav’s home district of Ujjain on March 1 and 2, 2024. Subsequently, the second was in Jabalpur on July 20, followed by the third in Gwalior on August 28. The fourth RIC was organized in the Sagar division on September 27, while the fifth was held in Rewa on October 23. The sixth took place in the Narmadapuram (Hoshangabad) division on December 7, 2024, and the seventh was hosted in Shahdol on January 16, 2025.
