Bhopal, Jan 26 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, is set to embark on a four-day international journey to Japan from January 27 to February 1, as announced by the Chief Minister's office on Saturday.

As per the announcement, CM Yadav, accompanied by senior officials, will depart for Japan from New Delhi on the evening of January 27. During the four-day itinerary, he will visit three major cities in Japan: Tokyo, Osaka, and Kobe. This visit is part of the MP government's Global Investors Summit, scheduled to take place in Bhopal on February 24 and 25. During his stay, the Chief Minister will engage with international investors and extend invitations for the summit in Bhopal.

Previously, CM Yadav has instructed nearly a dozen government departments to finalize their investment strategies in anticipation of the summit, with 21 policies currently being developed. Significant initiatives include the Madhya Pradesh Investment Promotion Policy 2025, MP Logistics Policy, and Madhya Pradesh Export Promotion and ODOP Policy 2025, under the Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department.

The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Department is also developing policies such as the MSME Development Policy 2025, MP MSME Land Development Allotment Policy 2025, and MP Start-up Policy. Renewable energy policies being crafted include the MP Pump Hydro Storage Policy 2025, Madhya Pradesh Biofuel Promotion Policy 2025, and the MP Urban Gas Distribution Policy 2024.

These policies are anticipated to be finalized ahead of the summit, per the government's statement.

Importantly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit -2025 on February 24. This marks the 8th Global Investors Summit (GIS-2025) organized at the Indira Gandhi National Museum of Mankind in Bhopal. Notably, this marks CM Mohan Yadav's second international trip in three months.

In November 2024, the CM traveled to London and Germany (on November 24 and 29) to attract investments for the upcoming Global Investors' Summit (GIS). Upon his return from the UK and Germany, the Chief Minister highlighted that both nations had presented numerous proposals, presenting Madhya Pradesh with opportunities to leverage its traditional strengths alongside cutting-edge technologies.
