Bhopal, Feb 18 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, announced on Tuesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially inaugurate the two-day Global Investment Summit (GIS) in Bhopal at 10 a.m. on February 24.
He mentioned that Prime Minister Modi will also unveil the latest industrial policies of Madhya Pradesh, which have been developed to support economic and employment growth in the state through extensive industrial expansion.
The Chief Minister further stated that the Prime Minister will review the Madhya Pradesh Experience Zone, which is set to be established at the GIS venue.
"This zone will offer an immersive digital experience highlighting Madhya Pradesh's heritage, its journey so far, and future goals in a cohesive presentation," CM Yadav remarked.
Earlier that day, CM Yadav led a meeting with the apex committee tasked with ensuring the successful execution of the Global Investors Summit, scheduled for February 24 to 25 at the Indira Gandhi National Human Museum Complex in Bhopal.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister urged officials to collaborate closely to create a grand, well-organized, and impactful GIS.
He emphasized the importance of managing the event smoothly.
The Chief Minister instructed authorities to treat all attendees at the GIS as esteemed guests and to extend traditional Indian hospitality to them.
He expressed that to make these two days unforgettable, the culture of Madhya Pradesh, along with local arts, cuisine, and hospitality, should be prominently featured for the investors.
Authorities have been tasked with offering boating and e-battery-operated boat rides at the expansive lake so that investors and participants can relish Bhopal's stunning natural scenery.
"The GIS aims to bolster Madhya Pradesh's economy and draw both domestic and foreign investors. This event in Bhopal is set to be distinct from previous iterations," he added.
Officials confirmed that over 60 countries will take part in the GIS, including 10 Ambassadors, eight High Commissioners, and seven Consulate Generals.
A total of 133 international participants, comprising prominent industrialists and CEOs, are expected to attend. The Chief Minister's Office reported over 31,659 registrations for the GIS, with more than 18,736 participants confirming their presence.
