Patna, March 13 (NationPress) In a troubling development ahead of the Rajya Sabha elections, the Bihar Legislative Assembly received a bomb threat via email on Friday.

Additional police units have been stationed at all entry points, and thorough inspections of every vehicle entering the premises are being carried out.
The police have also deployed a bomb squad and a canine unit to conduct an extensive sweep of the area.
Furthermore, cybersecurity specialists have been assigned to trace the origin of the email to identify the sender responsible for the threat.
This alarming incident is not an isolated case, as government institutions in Bihar have previously received similar threatening emails.
Notably, the Patna Civil Court has experienced multiple bomb threat emails in the past.
District courts in Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Purnea, and Bhagalpur have also faced similar threats previously.
However, investigations have shown that all past threats were hoaxes. Nevertheless, such occurrences have instilled fear among judicial officials, legal practitioners, and the public.
The voting for the Rajya Sabha elections is scheduled for March 16, making the receipt of this threatening email just days prior a serious concern for authorities.
