The aircraft subsequently resumed normal flight and departed for Patna. Those present at the stadium said the helicopter appeared to descend briefly before regaining altitude, triggering visible anxiety in the crowd. Security agencies heightened vigilance almost immediately, with police and administrative officials directing people to move away from open areas around the venue. Crowd management measures were put in place as a precaution.

The situation normalised once the helicopter resumed its course toward Patna. Authorities have yet to issue any explanation for the prolonged hovering, and no technical or security-related cause has been officially attributed to the incident.

Chief Minister Chaudhary had travelled to Hajipur to attend a programme centred on development initiatives and administrative reforms. Despite persistent rain and adverse weather since morning, a large number of NDA leaders, party workers, public representatives, and local residents attended the event.

During the visit, Chaudhary also called on the District Registration Office, where he launched several citizen-service initiatives under the Sabka Samman, Jeevan Aasaan campaign. Among the headline measures was a home registration facility for citizens aged 80 years and above, enabling registration officials to complete land registration formalities at beneficiaries' residences rather than requiring them to visit offices in person.

Digital and Transparency Reforms Launched

The CM also unveiled a paperless registration system aimed at strengthening the digital security of property documents, alongside GIS-based technology for site inspections — a step intended to improve transparency and efficiency in public administration. The measures are designed to simplify property registration procedures and reduce scope for irregularities.

Special security arrangements had been in place throughout Hajipur ahead of the visit, with police and administrative personnel deployed at key locations. The official programme concluded without incident, with attendees welcoming the newly announced reforms.
