Patna, Sep 11 (NationPress) Leader of Jan Suraaj, Prashant Kishor, furthered his Bihar Badlaav Yatra with a public gathering at Sabeya Airport Ground, located in the Hathua block of Gopalganj on Friday. During this event, he launched a series of pointed criticisms against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD president Lalu Prasad Yadav.
“Rahul Gandhi is quite an influential figure. His attention is directed towards PM Modi and national issues rather than the youth of Bihar. Being from the Prime Minister's lineage, how could he prioritize Prashant Kishor or the concerns of Bihar? His focus is on Tejashwi Yadav, Lalu Yadav’s son. I, however, am dedicated to the youth of Bihar and finding ways to curb migration.”
Kishor also took aim at Lalu Prasad, stating: “Lalu Prasad Yadav is intent on making his ninth unsuccessful son the Chief Minister, while the youth of Bihar are compelled to leave for Gujarat and Maharashtra even after completing their matriculation and intermediate education.”
Regarding ticket allocations for his party, Kishor explained that the application fee is Rs 21,000, but the ultimate candidates will be selected by the public instead of party leaders.
“This is not like the BJP, RJD, or Congress where tickets are traded. Here, the decision lies with the public,” he asserted.
Kishor made significant promises should Jan Suraj come into power.
He stated, “Starting from December 2025, every individual above 60 will receive a monthly pension of Rs 2,000. Children up to 15 years of age will be granted free education in private schools, with the government covering the fees. By the end of this year, we will bring back 50 lakh youth working outside Bihar and provide them with jobs earning Rs 10-12,000 within the state.
He proclaimed, “This will be the last Diwali and Chhath marked by Bihar’s struggles. Next year, the youth will no longer have to migrate for minor jobs.”
Later in the evening, while addressing a crowd in Chanpatia, Bettiah, Kishor began speaking in Bhojpuri, receiving enthusiastic responses as he emphasized that Jan Suraj’s campaign aims to restore dignity, employment, and quality education to Bihar.
