Patna, Oct 24 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday paid tribute to the significant contributions of Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur in shaping the nation and expressed his commitment to realizing the dreams of Bihar's 14 crore residents, asserting that their aspirations align with those of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

During a vibrant address to a large audience, he stated, “Today marks a pivotal moment in my life. Prior to this event, I visited Karpoori Gram, where I had the honor to pay my respects and bow to Bharat Ratna Jananayak Karpoori Thakur Ji.

Encouraging the crowd to take full advantage of the ongoing GST savings festival, he also extended early wishes for the upcoming grand celebration of Chhathi Maiya.

“The spirit of Samastipur and the atmosphere in Mithila indicate that Bihar is set to progress with renewed vigor when the NDA government is reinstated,” he remarked, eliciting cheers from the audience.

PM Modi further criticized the ‘Samvdihan Saviours,’ launching a fierce attack on the RJD and Congress, recalling the era of ‘jungle raj’ that instilled fear and regressed the state.

He remarked that both the RJD and Congress are mired in scandals, with many top leaders currently out on bail. He also derided the opposition's narrative of ‘vote chori.’

“Inspired by Jananayak Karpoori Thakur, we are steering good governance towards prosperity. In contrast, what are the RJD and Congress achieving? You are well aware; I need not remind you. Many of their leaders are out on bail for scams amounting to thousands of crores, and those on bail are implicated in theft cases,” he stated.

He accused the Mahagathbandhan of disrespecting the legacy of Karpoori Thakur, alleging that they are trying to usurp the title of ‘Jananayak.’

PM Modi expressed confidence that under Nitish Kumar's leadership, the NDA will surpass all previous records, and the people of Bihar will grant the alliance “the largest mandate ever.”
