Bikaner Family Feud: MLA Siddhi Kumari Faces Defeat as Aunt Rajyashree Claims Trustee Role

Jaipur, Jan 2 (NationPress) Bikaner East MLA Siddhi Kumari has encountered a significant setback in a property dispute case that was under judicial review, involving the former royal family of Bikaner, specifically her aunt.

Earlier, the Devasthan Department favored the BJP MLA, but it has now altered its ruling, thereby reinforcing the position of Rajyashree Kumari, who is Siddhi Kumari's aunt.

In light of the recent order from the Devasthan Department, Rajyashree Kumari, Madhulika Kumari, and Hanuwant Singh have been acknowledged as trustees. This decision is rooted in a judgment from the Mumbai High Court.

This development allows Rajyashree Kumari to access properties such as Junagarh, Lalgarh, and other assets overseen by the trust. Rajyashree has expressed a desire to maintain peace, highlighting her commitment to upholding the dignity of the royal lineage.

Following the favorable ruling, Rajyashree made serious allegations against her niece Siddhi Kumari during a press interaction, claiming that Siddhi had harassed her since the death of her mother, Sushila Devi.

She accused Siddhi Kumari of filing false police cases against her and other family members, including junior staff. Rajyashree also alleged that Siddhi Kumari had hired bouncers at Junagarh and Lalgarh to block their access.

Previously, MLA Siddhi Kumari had dismissed Rajyashree Kumari, Madhulika Kumari, Hanuwant Singh, and Reema Huja as trustees of the royal family’s trusts, subsequently appointing Sanjay Sharma, Dheeraj Bhojak, Manish Sharma, and Madan Singh as their replacements. This move was sanctioned by the Assistant Commissioner of the Devasthan Department on May 27, 2024.

The prior ruling acknowledged Siddhi Kumari as the senior family member and deemed the signature of working trustee Hanuwant Singh as fraudulent. The removal of the old trustees was purportedly based on the will of Rajmata Sushila Kumari, Siddhi Kumari's grandmother. However, Hanuwant Singh appealed this decision to the Commissioner of the Devasthan Department in Udaipur, resulting in the current reversal.
