Bhopal, Nov 14 (NationPress) The BJP's Madhya Pradesh unit rejoiced in the impressive triumph of the NDA in the Bihar Assembly elections on Friday. Celebrations included sharing sweets, exchanging congratulatory messages, and dancing at the party's headquarters in Bhopal.
BJP officials, such as state president Hemant Khandelwal, Deputy Chief Ministers Jagdish Devda, Rajendra Shukla, Vishwas Sarang, and general secretary Hitanand Sharma, along with hundreds of party members, participated in the live celebration from Bihar.
State BJP chief Khandelwal remarked that the results from Bihar reaffirm the public's trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. He asserted that, similar to Madhya Pradesh, the citizens of Bihar have cast their votes for the state's advancement.
Khandelwal urged the opposition, particularly Congress, to reflect on their leadership and question why the people of Bihar have turned away from them. He emphasized that Congress members should direct these inquiries at their top leader, Rahul Gandhi.
The Madhya Pradesh BJP in-charge, Mahendra Singh, stated that the strategic planning by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the compelling leadership of PM Modi, and the efforts of countless BJP workers across the nation have led to this remarkable victory in Bihar.
Singh further noted, "PM Modi's philosophy of 'sabka saath, sabka vikas, and sabka prayas' has resonated successfully nationwide. The people of Bihar have opted for a model of good governance under the NDA regime. This victory sends a clear message to those who seek to divide the populace," he asserted while addressing party supporters.
Importantly, more than 100 BJP leaders from Madhya Pradesh, including Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, former CM and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and ex-state home minister Narottam Mishra, actively campaigned in the Bihar Assembly elections.
Chief Minister Yadav, a key campaigner for the BJP, addressed over 20 public rallies across various locations in Bihar and celebrated the victory with party members during a visit to Indore.
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has achieved a historic win in Bihar, with trends indicating they are on track to secure over 200 of the 243 Assembly seats.
Conversely, the opposition coalition in Bihar, primarily comprising Congress and RJD, anticipated a return to power but faced a significant defeat.
