Patna, Oct 28 (NationPress) Union Minister of State for Home Affairs and BJP leader Nityanand Rai on Tuesday vehemently condemned the INDIA Bloc’s Grand Alliance manifesto, labeling it a series of “false promises” designed to “mislead” the citizens of Bihar.
He claimed that Tejashwi Yadav and his associates are attempting to “sell dreams” and revive “jungle raj” in the state.
Rai stated, “Tejashwi Yadav and the Grand Alliance members have unveiled a collection of false promises under the guise of a manifesto. The people of Bihar are aware that these are the same individuals who wish to restore lawlessness in the state.”
He urged voters to be cautious of what he termed “misleading” assertions, emphasizing that the NDA government will regain power on November 14.
“Tejashwi Yadav claims to make Bihar crime-free, but the entire state knows who plunged Bihar into the depths of crime,” Rai remarked.
“If the populace succumbs to the RJD’s false promises, daylight kidnappings, thefts, and homicides will resurface in Bihar,” he warned.
The Ujiarpur MP accused the RJD and the Lalu family of having devastated Bihar from 1990 to 2005, asserting that genuine development has only occurred under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership.
“The residents of Bihar will never again grant power to anarchic forces,” Rai declared.
In a pointed critique of Tejashwi Yadav, the BJP leader questioned his governance record.
“How many jobs did Tejashwi Yadav create during his 'jungle raj'? How many roads did he construct? Where did he ensure electricity? Instead, they looted businesses and homes, seized land, and established a kidnapping industry,” Rai accused.
Rai also underscored the BJP’s history of fulfilling its commitments.
“We vowed to build the Ram Temple, and it has been completed. We promised a grand temple for Mother Sita at Punoura Dham — construction has commenced. We pledged to abolish Article 370, and we did it,” he noted.
He stressed that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the NDA government has achieved significant advancements in Bihar.
“Thirty crore individuals have been lifted out of poverty nationwide, including over three crore from Bihar. Every household now has electricity and tap water, and beneficiaries receive Rs 5 lakh in free treatment under Ayushman Bharat,” Rai mentioned.
Rai added that many promises made by Tejashwi Yadav in his manifesto — including free electricity, welfare for women, and government job creation — are already being executed by the current Bihar administration.
“The NDA’s double-engine government is propelling Bihar’s development to unprecedented heights, enhancing rural roads, infrastructure, and job creation,” he concluded.
