Jaipur, Sep 18 (NationPress) In response to the allegations made by senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot regarding the alterations in the Rajasthan educational syllabus, BJP State President Madan Rathore affirmed that 'no lesson concerning Mangarh Dham or significant tribal figures has been eliminated'.
In fact, the BJP administration has taken steps to ensure that the rich history of tribal communities is passed on to future generations.
Rathore shared the syllabus, indicating that chapters on Mangarh Dham (previously included in Class 4) and the tale of Kalibai (once in Class 7) have now been integrated into the Class 5 syllabus for enhanced continuity and relevance.
He asserted that Gehlot’s comments were not only misleading but also indicative of a frustrated political outlook. He stated, 'Gehlot ji has a history of disseminating falsehoods and rumors to sow discord in society.'
“The Congress party has consistently engaged in vote-bank politics under the guise of advocating for tribal communities, yet when the BJP government genuinely recognizes their contributions and preserves their legacy, it unsettles Congress leaders,” he added.
Emphasizing the BJP’s efforts, Rathore remarked that if any party has genuinely honored the pride and culture of tribal societies, it’s the Bharatiya Janata Party. From granting national monument status to Mangarh Dham to incorporating tribal heroes into the curriculum and organizing large-scale commemorative events, these initiatives underscore the BJP’s dedication.
He concluded, 'The truth is that Gehlot ji is not interested in the history or pride of tribal communities. His primary concern is his political future. By continuously spreading misinformation, he aims to mislead the citizens of Rajasthan. However, the people are aware of the facts and will not succumb to the Congress party's deceit.'
Earlier on Wednesday, during a media briefing at the state BJP office, Rathore conveyed warm wishes for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's long, healthy, and prosperous life as he celebrated his 75th birthday.
He mentioned that Prime Minister Modi envisions that by 2047, 'India should emerge as a fully developed nation, taking a prominent place on the global stage. Under his leadership, the nation is achieving remarkable progress.'
Rathore noted that the introduction of Seva Pakhwada symbolizes the collective commitment of party workers to service, which injects positive energy into society.
Reflecting on the Prime Minister’s vision, Rathore recalled PM Modi’s recent speech in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, where he asserted that this is a 'new India that tackles terrorism at its roots and stands unyielding against threats.'
