Jaipur, Jan 28 (NationPress) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has successfully elected district presidents across seven districts in Rajasthan on Tuesday, with all positions filled without contest.

Currently, a total of 23 district presidents have been appointed.

The BJP, managing 44 districts from an organisational perspective, must now elect 21 additional district presidents within the next three days.

The elections on Tuesday took place in Churu, Sikar, Pali, Jalore, Jaisalmer, Rajsamand, and Banswara.

As it stands, the BJP is a month behind its planned organisational election timeline.

Initially, the announcement of district presidents was set for December 30, 2024, followed by the election of the state president by January 15, 2025.

The updated schedule aims to conclude the district president elections by January 31 and the state president elections by February 5.

Dalpat Hingra, who has been elected as the Jaisalmer District President, expressed his gratitude and recognised the importance of his new role.

"This is a significant responsibility," he stated.

Having begun his journey as a grassroots party worker, Hingra reaffirmed his dedication to working hard and upholding the party's principles.

Likewise, Rajsamand District President Jagdish Paliwal underscored the value of collaboration.

"The new task assigned by the party organisation will be approached with total commitment and teamwork. We will work together to strengthen and uplift the party," he remarked.

According to the BJP's organisational framework, a total of 44 district presidents are designated in Rajasthan.

Thus far, 23 districts have appointed their leaders, with elections for district presidents in 21 districts expected to conclude by January 31.

Previously, new district presidents were chosen in Hanumangarh, Nagaur City, Nagaur Rural, Barmer, Kota City, Kota Rural, Sriganganagar, Balotra, Bikaner Rural, Jodhpur City, and Jodhpur Rural on Monday.

This initiative by the BJP is aimed at fortifying the party's structure ahead of the forthcoming elections in Rajasthan.

The state leadership of the BJP prioritises the needs of its workers and the interests of the party throughout this process.

In the selection of new district presidents, the BJP has considered social, political, and organisational engagement.
