Bhubaneswar, April 6 (NationPress) Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday conveyed his best wishes on the 46th foundation day of the ruling BJP, stating that the party has evolved into a movement throughout the nation.
He called upon party members to unite and reinforce their commitment to creating a 'Viksit Bharat' and 'Viksit Odisha'.
“Sincere wishes and greetings to everyone on the Foundation Day of Bharatiya Janata Party, the largest political party globally. The BJP has transformed into a movement nationwide due to the dedicated efforts of all Party members, from grassroots workers to leaders,” the Chief Minister posted on X.
“Let us collaborate, recalling the extraordinary contributions of all workers for the party along with the unwavering resolve and sacrifices of visionary leaders. Together, let's fortify our commitment to realize a Viksit Bharat and Viksit Odisha,” he further stated.
In addition, the 46th foundation day of the BJP was commemorated on Sunday at the state party office.
BJP state unit President Manmohan Samal raised the flag.
The Chief Minister and Odisha BJP in-charge Vijay Pal Singh Tomar were also present.
“Today marks the 46th foundation day of the BJP, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. There is immense enthusiasm among our karyakartas. Over the years, the party has faced numerous challenges, and today, we are in power under the dynamic guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the third term, akin to the leadership of the esteemed Atal Bihari Vajpayee,” stated state unit President Manmohan Samal.
Samal emphasized that the party is fortunate to have earned the mandate of the Indian populace to serve them for a third term at the national level and a first term in Odisha.
The state BJP president asserted that the BJP now embodies every segment of society.
“From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, from Dibrugarh to Gujarat, the party organization has expanded nationwide. We remain devoted to fulfilling the hopes and dreams of the people. In Odisha as well, the citizens have entrusted us with their faith. We are unwaveringly dedicated to constructing a Viksit Odisha and contributing to the vision of a Viksit Bharat. We will tirelessly strive to achieve this vision,” concluded Samal.
