Patna, March 25 (NationPress) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is poised to commemorate its Foundation Day with extensive celebrations throughout Bihar, featuring a week-long series of events scheduled from April 5 to April 12.
A planning meeting took place at the state party headquarters, where BJP State President Sanjay Saraogi directed party members and sketched a detailed roadmap for the program.
According to the agenda, from April 5 to April 7, party offices will be adorned, culminating in a statewide “Vikas Yatra” (Development March) on April 6.
Party activists have been encouraged to raise the BJP flag at their residences and to share selfies with it across social media.
Celebrations for Foundation Day will occur at every polling booth on either April 6 or 7, ensuring active participation from primary party members at the grassroots level.
On April 8 and 9, conferences for active members will be convened at district offices to deliberate on crucial organizational and political matters.
Additionally, a “Gaon Basti Chalo Abhiyan” (village outreach campaign) is set to unfold from April 7 to April 12.
This initiative will see party workers, including public representatives from the Panchayat level and higher, visiting 50 significant villages in each assembly constituency to strengthen their ties with the community.
BJP’s Organisational General Secretary Bhikhubhai Dalsaniya reported that preparations for the Foundation Day festivities are well underway.
A coordination team has been established at the state level to ensure the smooth execution of these events.
The core team comprises leaders such as Radhamohan Sharma, Pawan Jaiswal, Pinky Kushwaha, Satyapal Narottam, and Rajiv Ranjan, who will supervise various elements of the program.
This extensive series of events is perceived as a crucial organizational effort aimed at bolstering the party’s grassroots presence in light of upcoming political changes in the state.
To facilitate effective execution, region-specific program in-charges have been appointed across 13 major zones in Bihar.
Ragini Rani will oversee the Mithila region, while Sanjay Tiwari will manage Tirhut, and Swati Sinha will be in charge of Magadh. Janardan Sharma Jogi will lead in Shahabad, and Arjun Gupta takes responsibility for Champaran.
Other appointments include Gautam Kumar for Saran, Bittu Soni for Bhagalpur, and Poonam Sharma for Koshi.
Amresh Kumar Ojha will supervise Seemanchal, while Nidhi Singh is appointed for Patna.
Sushant Kumar will manage Munger, and Archana Thakur will oversee Begusarai.
The meeting also saw the participation of Headquarters Co-in-charge Dilip Mishra, State Media Co-in-charge Prabhat Malakar, and Social Media Co-convener Ambrish Sharma, indicating a structured and coordinated approach to the upcoming initiatives.
