Patna, April 3 (NationPress) The Bihar BJP is preparing for a vibrant celebration of the party's foundation day on April 6, aligning with the auspicious Ram Navami festivities.

Dilip Jaiswal, the state president of BJP in Bihar, announced that events will be organized from the state level down to the booth level throughout Bihar.

“All district party offices will be adorned, and an exhibition will be held to showcase the BJP’s journey and accomplishments from the Jan Sangh period to the present. The party flag will be raised from divisional offices all the way to the homes of BJP workers,” Jaiswal stated.

He continued: “A conference for active members is scheduled for April 8 and 9 across all 243 Assembly constituencies, with more than 1.57 lakh BJP members anticipated to join.”

Additionally, he revealed that the “Gaon-Basti Chalo” (Village-Slum Outreach) campaign will occur from April 10 to April 12, during which BJP workers will visit villages, neighborhoods, and service colonies for at least eight hours daily to promote the party's ideology and emphasize government development initiatives.

“We have established a four-member state-level committee to manage these celebrations, which includes Mrityunjay Jha (Former State VP), Ratnesh Kushwaha (State Minister), Sanjay Gupta (State Minister), and Poonam Jha (Former State Minister). Photographs of these events will also be extensively shared on social media,” Jaiswal mentioned.

In defense of the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, Jaiswal explained that its purpose is to ensure efficient management and prevent the misuse of Waqf properties.

“The impoverished and Pasmanda Muslims were not gaining from these properties due to mismanagement and diminishing income,” he noted, referencing the Sachar Committee report, which underscored the necessity for improved management of Waqf assets.

According to Jaiswal, the Bill will promote financial transparency, augment revenue, and lessen reliance on government support.

In response to Tejashwi Yadav’s criticism of the Bill, Jaiswal showcased a viral video of Lalu Prasad Yadav, where he had previously advocated for stricter Waqf laws.

He quipped, “Today this government has granted his request. Tejashwi should consult his father regarding this.”
