Key Takeaways
New Delhi, Feb 8 (NationPress) Describing Team Rekha Gupta as a government focused on results, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Nitin Nabin launched 500 electric buses on Sunday, criticizing the former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government for spreading misleading information while neglecting actual development.
During the launch held at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan, which marked the one-year anniversary of the BJP's governance in Delhi, Nabin stated, "It is the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Delhi to evolve into a 'Developed Delhi' characterized by holistic development, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and enhanced citizen services, all under the guidance of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta."
He emphasized, "This vision is now becoming a reality through various development projects," while condemning the previous AAP government for making empty promises to the citizens.
Nabin remarked, "The lies and deceit from AAP have caused issues for the residents of Delhi. They would erect large billboards and host extravagant events, yet their development achievements were only on paper."
He noted that the overwhelming support for the BJP in Delhi has heightened public expectations regarding the fulfillment of commitments.
"I firmly believe that CM Rekha Gupta will demonstrate effective governance," he asserted.
Highlighting the introduction of e-buses as a significant move to combat air pollution, Nabin stated that promoting public transportation under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is the most effective solution to address vehicular pollution.
On social media platform X, CM Rekha Gupta expressed, "Today, as we proudly launch 500 electric buses in Delhi, the encouragement and support received from BJP National President @NitinNabinji is truly inspiring for us."
"His confidence empowers us to serve Delhi with dedication and humility. This recognition from our leadership reinforces our sense of responsibility and motivates us to excel further. A heartfelt thank you to the National President for invigorating our spirit," she added.
