BJP Pledges Transformation for Delhi, Criticizes AAP Administration in Election Campaign

New Delhi, Dec 7 (NationPress) In a strategic effort to reinforce its political standing in the national capital, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has escalated its campaign targeting the current Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) administration, emphasizing what it identifies as public discontent and the vision of a 'double-engine government' to reshape Delhi.

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, while engaging with party members and the media, stated that there exists a 'prevailing sentiment of dissatisfaction' among the citizens of Delhi.

Speaking about the campaign poster unveiled by the BJP on Saturday, which proclaims, 'Ab nahi sahenge, badal ke rahenge' (we will not tolerate anymore, we will bring change), Sachdeva noted that it resonates as the 'people's slogan.'

“This slogan reflects the voices of Delhi's populace. During our manifesto preparations, we engaged with various groups including traders, Residents Welfare Associations, and residents from diverse backgrounds, including those in slums. A common sentiment emerged — they wish to be liberated from Arvind Kejriwal. They are unwilling to endure his governance any longer and are eager for change,” Sachdeva elaborated.

He further highlighted that this discontent has evolved into a unified demand for transformation.

“The call for change stems from this collective sentiment — we will no longer endure this, we will bring change, and we will establish a BJP government in Delhi,” he underscored.

The BJP has structured its campaign around the aspiration of integrating Delhi's administration with the policies and vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“The residents of Delhi recognize that only a 'double-engine government', operating both at the state level and centrally, can deliver genuine progress to the national capital,” Sachdeva asserted, emphasizing that Delhi's advancement necessitates coordination between local and federal authorities.
