Bhopal, Nov 7 (NationPress) Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Lok Sabha and Congress MP, is set to visit the scenic hill station of Pachmarhi in Madhya Pradesh to speak at the ongoing training camp for district presidents of the party on Saturday.

Gandhi is expected to arrive at Raja Bhoj Airport in Bhopal around 2:30 pm, subsequently reaching Pachmarhi by approximately 3:30 pm, as reported by the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee.

Upon his arrival in Pachmarhi, he will convene a meeting with state Congress leaders at Ravisankar Bhavan. Following this, he will head to the MPT hotel, where the training camp for the district presidents has been in progress since November 2.

Rahul Gandhi will address the training session for the district presidents later in the evening and will join state Congress leaders, including the district presidents, for a dinner gathering.

After a series of meetings with state party officials, he will spend the night at Ravishankar Bhavan. The following morning, he will return to Bhopal's Raja Bhoj Airport to depart for campaigning in the Bihar elections.

The weeklong residential training camp for the district presidents of the Madhya Pradesh Congress commenced at the hotel in Pachmarhi on November 2 and will conclude on November 12.

Rahul Gandhi views district presidents as the backbone of the party's organizational structure. They play a vital role in linking grassroots workers with state leadership, mobilizing supporters, formulating local strategies, and implementing directives from the central leadership.

In Madhya Pradesh, where the Congress party aims to regain its organizational strength after recent political challenges, the significance of district presidents is heightened.

Prior training camps for district heads, including the one conducted in 2023 in Pachmarhi, were aimed at equipping leaders for electoral campaigns, promoting ideological clarity, and enhancing booth-level management.

Earlier on Friday, Rahul Gandhi addressed a large crowd in Banka, Bihar, where he criticized the Modi government over alleged "vote theft".

While speaking at another rally in the Amarpur Assembly constituency in Banka district, he stated, "The people of Bihar will not permit them to steal votes. For years, Narendra Modi and Amit Shah have been pilfering votes. Previously, we lacked evidence—now we possess data to support our claims. Thus, I assert that Haryana has a stolen government."
