According to the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee, Gandhi is expected to land at Raja Bhoj Airport in Bhopal around 2:30 pm, making his way to Pachmarhi at approximately 3:30 pm.
Upon his arrival in Pachmarhi, Gandhi will convene a meeting with state Congress leaders at Ravisankar Bhavan. Following this, he will head to the MPT hotel, where a week-long training camp for district presidents has been in progress since November 2.
The Congress MP will address the participants of the training camp later in the evening, after which he will join state Congress leaders, including district presidents, for dinner.
After completing a series of meetings with state party officials, Rahul Gandhi will spend the night at Ravisankar Bhavan. The following morning, he will return to Bhopal's Raja Bhoj Airport to depart for campaigning in Bihar.
This week-long residential training camp for district presidents of the Madhya Pradesh Congress commenced on November 2 and is scheduled to conclude on November 12.
Gandhi has consistently regarded district presidents as the backbone of the party's organizational structure. They are vital links between grassroots workers and state leadership, tasked with mobilizing party cadres, formulating local strategies, and executing central directives effectively.
In Madhya Pradesh, where the Congress aims to restore its organizational strength following recent political challenges, the importance of district presidents is heightened.
Previous training and orientation camps for district leaders, such as the one held in 2023 at Pachmarhi, focused on preparing leaders for election campaigns, fostering ideological understanding, and enhancing booth-level management.
Just yesterday, Rahul Gandhi spoke at a significant rally in Banka, Bihar, where he criticized the Modi government over alleged “vote theft”.
In another rally at the Amarpur Assembly constituency in Banka district, he stated, “The people of Bihar will not permit them to steal votes. For years, Narendra Modi and Amit Shah have been involved in vote theft. Previously, we lacked evidence of this theft -- now we possess the data to prove it. That is why I assert there is a stolen government in Haryana.
