Jaipur, Aug 2 (NationPress) Rajasthan BJP leader Madan Rathore revealed that the Bharatiya Janata Party will commemorate August 14 as ‘Vibhajan Vibhishika Smriti Diwas’ and will engage in the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative on August 15 throughout Rajasthan.
He stated that the party’s mission is to ensure that the national flag reaches every household on Independence Day.
Reflecting on the tragic events of the Partition, Rathore noted, "Millions suffered from the atrocities of Partition just a day before India achieved independence on August 15, 1947. Numerous lives were lost, and many were compelled to leave their homes, becoming refugees."
The BJP, according to him, will honor those who withstood the hardships and rebuilt their lives with remarkable resilience and determination.
“Vibhajan Vibhishika Smriti Diwas serves as a reminder of the pain, bravery, and sacrifices of countless victims. It is crucial for us to vow that we will never allow the threads of national unity, integrity, and brotherhood to fray,” he added.
Discussing the Independence Day festivities, Rathore mentioned that BJP volunteers would spearhead the Har Ghar Tiranga drive by distributing the national flag to every home.
He urged citizens to display the Tricolour with pride, regardless of their political affiliations, stressing that the national flag belongs to every Indian.
Rathore commented that Ashok Gehlot should move past the Manesar incident, but his continued references indicate he is still attached to those memories.
“If I become emotional recalling the tragedies of Partition, will Sachin Pilot forget being labeled 'useless'? Such language is inappropriate when addressing one’s own colleague,” he stated.
He criticized the Congress for imprisoning innocent individuals and disseminating misleading narratives such as ‘saffron terrorism’.
He also denounced the alleged plots against RSS leaders, describing them as deeply regrettable.
Rathore underscored the necessity for routine electoral roll updates, asserting, "Only Indian citizens should determine India's future. Outsiders like Rohingyas, Bangladeshis, or even someone from Italy must not possess voting rights. If Rahul Gandhi seeks power by counting on outsiders, it is unjust. Voting rights must remain exclusive to Indian citizens. We will remove the names of non-citizens - why create a fuss about it?"
Reaffirming the BJP’s core philosophy, Rathore stated, “The BJP operates with a ‘nation first’ approach. Our goal is to create a society free from fear, uphold unity, and foster harmony among all communities.”
He encouraged people to read books like ‘Azadi Aayi Aadhi Raat Ko’ to gain a deeper understanding of the nation's history and draw lessons to reinforce national unity.
