Jaipur, May 21 (NationPress) A significant security alert was set off at the Jodhpur Collectorate on Wednesday following an email threat regarding a bomb attack allegedly involving RDX.
In response to the alarming message, police, administrative officials, and central security forces initiated a thorough search operation.
As of now, no suspicious items have been located on the premises. According to law enforcement sources, the threatening email was received around 9:30 AM at the official email address of the Jodhpur Collector's Office. The message outlined plans to detonate the Collectorate using RDX. In reaction, DCP (East) Alok Srivastava, ADCP (East) Virendra Singh, and other senior officials promptly arrived at the location.
The BSF, RPF, and CISF units were also summoned to support the operation, leading to a comprehensive search of the entire Collectorate grounds.
