Jaipur, April 15 (NationPress) The Mini Secretariat in Alwar received a bomb threat on Tuesday, causing widespread panic in the vicinity. This alarming situation has resulted in significant criticism directed towards the Rajasthan government, as the Opposition Congress condemned the deteriorating law and order in the state.

The threatening message, which was sent to the official email address of the Alwar District Collectorate, alleged that RDX had been planted and warned that the building would be detonated by 3 PM on Tuesday.

Reportedly sent at 3:42 AM, the message was discovered by officials around 7:00 AM, prompting the administration to act quickly. They evacuated all personnel from the premises, sealed the main gates, and initiated a comprehensive security response.

ADM City, Bina Mahawar, confirmed, “A threatening email was received on the Collectorate’s official mail early in the morning. It read, ‘Assalam Collector... RDX has been installed in the Mini Secretariat. It will be blown up by 3 PM on Tuesday.’”

In response to the alert, a bomb squad from Jaipur was dispatched. A manual search of the area was conducted, and a cyber team is currently investigating the email's origin.

The Alwar District Collectorate has effectively become a high-security zone, according to officials.

Two fire brigades, a civil security team, and a significant police presence have been deployed. Entry is strictly prohibited, and an extensive search operation is ongoing.

So far, no explosive devices have been discovered, but investigations and security measures are continuing vigorously, officials reported.

Responding to the situation, Leader of Opposition Tika Ram Jully stated, “The recent bomb threats targeting both the Jaipur Collectorate and now the Alwar Mini Secretariat have caused widespread concern and apprehension among citizens.

“These alarming incidents have highlighted the crumbling law and order situation in Rajasthan.

“Lawlessness appears to be unfolding openly, right under the nose of the ‘parchi government’ and the state and central ministers representing Alwar.

“The authority and credibility of law enforcement seem to have vanished, while the escalating ‘jungle raj’ across the state fosters a climate of insecurity.”

He remarked that daily threats and rising crime have disturbingly become commonplace.

“The public increasingly lives in fear, while the government remains passive and unresponsive. It seems the administration is paralyzed, waiting for a signal from Delhi before taking any decisive action.

“The people are left to fend for themselves under this new governance model of silence and inaction,” LoP Jully added.

He concluded, “Law and order in the state lies in shambles — jungle raj prevails.”
