New Delhi, Sep 23 (NationPress) - On Tuesday, the Indian airline Akasa Air notified its passengers about technical difficulties affecting its operations, leading to the temporary unavailability of several online services.
In a statement shared via the social media platform X, the airline mentioned that services related to booking, check-in, and managing bookings might not be accessible.
"Currently, our systems are undergoing intermittent challenges, causing some online services, including booking, check-in, and managing bookings, to be temporarily unavailable," Akasa Air conveyed in their announcement.
The airline reassured customers that dedicated teams are collaborating with service providers to remedy the situation.
"We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and assure you that our teams are diligently working with our service provider to resolve the issues as quickly as possible," the airline stated.
Passengers with urgent travel plans are encouraged to arrive at the airport ahead of time and complete the check-in process at the airline's counters.
“We request passengers with immediate travel plans to arrive early to check-in at our counters,” the airline advised.
For further assistance, the airline has provided its 24x7 Akasa Care Centre helpline: +91 9606 112131.
"For any help, please reach out to our 24x7 Akasa Care Centre at +91 9606 112131, and our team will be happy to assist you," they added.
This system glitch follows a notification from Akasa Air the previous day, warning about potential delays due to heavy rainfall in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Pune.
"Due to significant rainfall in certain regions of Mumbai, Kolkata, and Pune, we expect slow-moving traffic and congestion on roads leading to the airport," stated Akasa Air on their X post.
On Monday, the airline recommended travelers to account for extra travel time due to traffic delays on roads leading to the airports.
“We understand that this may disrupt your travel plans and appreciate your understanding,” Akasa Air had expressed in their previous update.
