Chennai, Nov 2 (NationPress) In a significant advancement in enhancing public safety and surveillance, the Greater Chennai Police is set to deploy closed-circuit television (CCTV) and automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras at 45 crucial sites throughout north Chennai, as announced on Sunday.
This initiative is designed to tackle vehicle thefts, oversee traffic infringements, and bolster law enforcement in areas prone to crime and heavy traffic.
