Tirupati, May 25 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, along with his family, celebrated the inauguration of their new residence located in his home constituency of Kuppam in Chittoor district this Sunday.
CM Naidu, accompanied by his wife Bhuvaneswari and other relatives, took part in the housewarming festivities.
Representing the Kuppam constituency for over 35 years, the Chief Minister has constructed his official residence in Sivapuram within Santhipuram Mandal.
As per family traditions, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader and his family engaged in rituals conducted by Hindu priests, which included offerings to a sacred cow and calf from the Punganur breed.
CM Naidu's son, Nara Lokesh, who serves as the state Minister for Human Resources Development and Information Technology, along with his daughter-in-law Nara Brahmani, also participated in the rituals.
Numerous TDP leaders and supporters from across the constituency gathered at the new residence to express their congratulations to CM Naidu and his family.
Bhuvaneswari shared on 'X', "Kuppam is our home, and the people of Kuppam are our family."
She added, "The housewarming celebration in Kuppam filled me with joy. It was a touching occasion blessed by the support of the Kuppam community, who have stood by us for 36 years. I am profoundly thankful for their love and encouragement."
Lokesh also took to 'X' to share his thoughts and moments from the housewarming event.
As the TDP general secretary, he remarked that they celebrated this milestone with the people of Kuppam, who have been part of their journey for over three decades.
He expressed gratitude, stating, "The warmth and support you have shown will always be cherished. This occasion is not merely for our family, but for all of us."
The new house is built on approximately one acre of land adjacent to the Kuppam-Palamaneru National Highway near Kadapalle Panchayat.
The construction commenced three years ago while CM Naidu was in the role of Leader of the Opposition.
TDP representatives noted that by establishing the residence, CM Naidu has addressed criticisms from political opponents regarding his failure to build a house in Kuppam despite his long-term representation.
Since 1989, CM Naidu has remained unbeaten in elections from Kuppam.
