Amaravati, July 14 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, is set to embark on a two-day journey to New Delhi on July 15 and 16. His primary agenda is to engage with various Union Ministers regarding significant development projects in the state and to discuss the necessary financial aid from the central government.
During this visit, the Chief Minister will address numerous topics, including the progress of ongoing projects in Andhra Pradesh, the disbursement of outstanding funds, the Polavaram–Banakacharla connectivity project, and issues surrounding the Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. He aims to enhance collaboration with the Centre to expedite infrastructure and welfare initiatives within the state.
Scheduled discussions include meetings with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, IT and Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Paatil, Labour and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, NITI Aayog member Dr. V.K. Saraswat, and the Managing Director of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.
On July 15, Naidu will depart from Gannavaram Airport in Vijayawada at 11:45 a.m., with his first meeting with Amit Shah scheduled for 1 p.m.
He will then consult with Dr. V.K. Saraswat at 2:30 p.m. at the Chief Minister’s residence located at 1-Janpath.
This will be succeeded by a meeting with the Delhi Metro MD to talk about proposed metro rail initiatives in Andhra Pradesh.
Additionally, as the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Naidu will honor the memory of former Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao by delivering a speech at a memorial event at Teen Murti Marg at 3:30 p.m.
Later that evening, he will meet with Union IT and Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw at 7 p.m.
On July 16, the agenda includes a meeting with Union Labour and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya at 10 a.m., followed by a discussion with Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Paatil at Jal Shakti Bhavan at 2:30 p.m., and a meeting with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at 4:30 p.m.
