Amaravati, May 22 (NationPress) - The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, is set to undertake a two-day trip to New Delhi to garner the Union government's backing for the swift implementation of various ongoing and proposed projects in the state.

Throughout this visit, the Chief Minister will engage in a series of crucial meetings with senior Union Ministers to outline the state’s development priorities and secure central assistance across vital sectors, as stated by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) on Thursday.

On the first day of his visit, Friday, the Chief Minister will convene meetings with Union Ministers, including those from Defence, Finance, Jal Shakti, and Electronics & IT.

The discussions will center on Centre-State collaboration for infrastructure, renewable energy, and water resource management.

Additionally, there will be a focus on the implementation of new criminal laws and administrative readiness.

Naidu's first meeting will be with Minister for New & Renewable Energy Prahlad Joshi to discuss partnerships in green energy initiatives. Following this, he will meet with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to deliberate on Andhra Pradesh’s strategic defence and aerospace projects, including the BEL Defence Complex and HAL-AMCA programme.

Next, the Chief Minister will meet with Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil to discuss water infrastructure and pending irrigation proposals.

During his meeting with Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology, Dr. Jintendra Singh, Naidu will explore collaborations in research, innovation, and industrial science.

Subsequently, he will approach Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to request support for Andhra Pradesh’s financial strategy.

The Chief Minister will also take part in a crucial review meeting chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the rollout of new criminal laws across the states.

On Friday evening, Naidu will meet with Minister for Electronics and IT Ashwini Vaishnaw to discuss digital infrastructure and Andhra Pradesh’s future in the tech economy.

On Saturday, the Chief Minister will participate in the 10th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog at Bharat Mandapam.

In this high-level policy forum, he aims to present Andhra Pradesh’s reform-driven governance model, underline key development initiatives, and seek strategic collaboration from the Centre and other states to promote inclusive and sustainable growth, according to the CMO.
