Andhra CM N. Chandrababu Naidu Engages with HM Amit Shah

New Delhi, Dec 25 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, had a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Wednesday.
The Ministry of Home Affairs shared on X: "The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, called on Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah today."
Earlier in the day, CM Naidu had discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding significant matters concerning the state.
Chandrababu Naidu, leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), which is a crucial ally of the BJP-led NDA government at the national level, is believed to have urged the Prime Minister to prioritize Andhra Pradesh in the upcoming Union Budget.
The meeting at the Prime Minister's residence extended for over an hour.
The TDP Chief, responsible for leading the NDA government in Andhra Pradesh, updated Prime Minister Modi on the developmental initiatives undertaken in the last six months.
He also informed him about the progress on the Polavaram project, which holds national significance.
Accompanying Chief Minister Naidu were Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Communications Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani, Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Steel Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma, and TDP Parliamentary Party leader Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu.
Prior to this meeting, the Chief Minister also conferred with Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw about pending railway projects within the state.
Union Ministers from the region, along with various MPs, were also present in the discussions.
Chandrababu Naidu's meeting with Amit Shah was pivotal.
He is also slated to meet Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to address state-specific concerns.
The TDP Chief participated in a gathering of NDA leaders at the residence of BJP President J.P. Nadda.
His day commenced with paying respects to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Atal Samadhi.
He was joined by Prime Minister Modi, Amit Shah, and other senior BJP officials.
CM Naidu also took to X to honor former PM Vajpayee on the occasion of his 100th birth anniversary.
