Andhra Pradesh CM Naidu Engages with Amit Shah

New Delhi, December 25 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, held discussions with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Wednesday.

The Ministry of Home Affairs shared an update on X, stating: "The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, met with Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah today."

Earlier that day, CM Naidu also engaged with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address several significant matters concerning the state.

Chandrababu Naidu, leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), which plays an important role as an ally of the BJP-led NDA government at the national level, reportedly urged the Prime Minister to prioritize Andhra Pradesh in the upcoming Union Budget.

This meeting at the Prime Minister's residence extended for over an hour.

The TDP Chief provided PM Modi with updates on the developmental initiatives accomplished in the last six months.

He also informed the Prime Minister about the advancements in the Polavaram project, recognized as a national initiative.

Accompanying him were Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Communications Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani, Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Steel Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma, and TDP Parliamentary Party leader Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu.

Additionally, the Chief Minister discussed pending railway projects in the state during a meeting with Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

Union Ministers and MPs from the state were also present during these discussions.

Chandrababu Naidu's schedule included a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

He is also set to meet Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to deliberate on state-specific concerns.

The TDP Chief participated in a gathering of NDA leaders at the residence of BJP President J.P. Nadda.

CM Naidu commenced his day by paying respects to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Atal Samadhi.

He was accompanied by Prime Minister Modi, Amit Shah, and other senior BJP officials.

CM Naidu also expressed his tributes to former PM Vajpayee on his 100th birth anniversary via X.
