New Delhi, April 6 (NationPress) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta pledged her commitment to serving every segment of society on Sunday, stating that the BJP’s principle of nation first is steering her administration towards restoring the prestige of the national capital.
“Currently, our party volunteers are dedicating 15 to 16 hours daily to promote social welfare and build the nation, and I extend my greetings to them on our party's foundation day,” remarked the Chief Minister.
“The formation of a BJP government in Delhi after 27 years is a result of the relentless efforts of our state team, esteemed president, MPs, and all members,” she noted.
The Chief Minister emphasized that party workers have consistently adhered to the principle of nation first, party second, and self last.
“The country will always be our foremost concern. Today, through our governance, we are striving for the advancement of Delhi and the nation,” she stated.
She further mentioned that the party's senior leaders and thinkers have consistently instructed them on the significance of serving society.
“Once again, under this party banner, we take an oath that under the guidance of our esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and our President J.P. Nadda, the whole BJP will remain dedicated to public service and continue to enhance the nation's glory, aiming for it to become a Vishwaguru,” she declared during an event at the Delhi BJP office.
Earlier, she paid her respects at Kalkaji Temple in South Delhi, noting that the city has begun to reap the benefits of PM Modi’s development model, and described the launch of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme during Navratris as a fortunate occurrence.
“I have sought divine blessings to empower us in serving Delhi to the best of our abilities,” she added.
The Chief Minister assured that her government would introduce new welfare initiatives in the near future.
The ruling party is commemorating its 45th Sthapna Diwas. The BJP was founded on April 6, 1980, during a workers' convention at Kotla Ground in New Delhi, where Atal Bihari Vajpayee was elected as the party's inaugural president.
