Jaipur, Feb 7 (NationPress) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma along with his council of ministers is set to take a sacred dip in Triveni Sangam at Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

During the ongoing Budget session of the Rajasthan government, the state cabinet plans to visit Maha Kumbh on Saturday to immerse themselves in the holy waters of the Sangam.

Approximately 119 MLAs are expected to travel to Prayagraj for this spiritual event on Saturday, as reported by officials.

A total of 171 individuals, including MLAs, their families, and a few officials, will be part of the Maha Kumbh visit.

The third session of the 16th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly commenced on January 31.

In an interview with IANS, State Minister Joraram Kumawat remarked: "Now, Rajasthan BJP MLAs will head to Prayagraj to participate in the holy dip at Triveni Sangam."

Officials noted that a meeting of the cabinet ministers is also planned in Prayagraj following their 'snan' at the Sangam.

The ministers and MLAs are scheduled to fly via a special chartered flight on Saturday morning and return to Jaipur that same night.

It is noteworthy that this is the second occasion for Chief Minister Sharma to take a sacred dip in the Sangam.

Previously, the Chief Minister visited Maha Kumbh on January 19, where he offered prayers at the Sangam and also had the darshan of Lord Hanuman in a reclining posture.

In a post on the social media platform X, he stated: "I had the honor of taking a dip at the sacred Triveni Sangam, the magnificent confluence of faith, devotion, and unity 'Mahakumbh-2025' in Prayagraj."

"After experiencing the divine darshan of reclining Lord Hanuman and worshipping him, I prayed for the happiness, prosperity, auspiciousness, and health of everyone in the state," the Chief Minister's post in Hindi conveyed.
