Chennai, Aug 11 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.K. Stalin, is set to embark on a comprehensive visit to Udumalpet and Pollachi in the Coimbatore district on Monday. As per credible sources, CM Stalin will commence his day in Udumalpet, where he plans to address a public gathering at Netaji Grounds. During this event, he will distribute welfare support to beneficiaries of various government programs.

Additionally, he will lay the groundwork for several new infrastructure projects and inaugurate completed works intended to enhance civic amenities in the area.

Following his time in Udumalpet, the Chief Minister will head to Pollachi to participate in commemorative activities. He will unveil statues honoring notable leaders, reinforcing the Dravidian movement's legacy of recognizing its pioneers.

Moreover, he will inaugurate a memorial for workers who tragically lost their lives during the construction of the Parambikulam Aliyar Dam, a multi-purpose project crucial for irrigation and drinking water supply in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

As part of his engagements in Pollachi, CM Stalin will also visit a photo exhibition that showcases the history, construction, and effects of the Parambikulam Aliyar Project. This exhibition is anticipated to feature rare archival photographs, engineering milestones, and the socio-economic changes brought about by the dam since its inauguration.

After these events, the Chief Minister will make his way to Coimbatore, where he is expected to have a brief interaction with party members before departing for Chennai via flight later in the evening.
