Chennai, Jan 7 (NationPress) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin is scheduled to lead a significant government welfare and development initiative at the Dindigul Collectorate today, symbolizing one of the most extensive single-day welfare outreach efforts in the region.

During the event, the Chief Minister will inaugurate and lay the groundwork for development projects valued at Rs 1,595 crore. This includes 111 completed projects and 212 newly approved projects across various departments, focused on enhancing infrastructure, public services, and social welfare within the district.

As part of the welfare distribution initiative, CM Stalin will extend government support to approximately 30,000 beneficiaries from multiple departments. Additionally, land ownership documents, known as pattas, will be distributed to nearly 1.02 lakh beneficiaries, providing much-needed legal security to countless families.

The Chief Minister will also inaugurate and evaluate exhibition halls created by different government departments to highlight welfare schemes and development projects in Dindigul.
