During this event, he shared the mantra of self-reliance and success with the athletes.
At the ceremony, CM Yogi recognized the exceptional players and declared plans for a mini-stadium to be built at the Bhani Devi Goyal Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College.
Highlighting the crucial role of health in nation-building, the Chief Minister stated that sports has transitioned from a mere hobby to a vital avenue for enriching life experiences.
While addressing the audience, UP CM remarked, "Participating in the 36th Regional Sports Meet of Vidya Bharati on the historic ground of Rani Lakshmibai's valor is indeed an honor."
Founded by Nanaji Deshmukh in Gorakhpur, Vidya Bharati stands as a premier organization dedicated to instilling values through over 25,000 educational and training institutions nationwide.
In acknowledging Devendra Singh, the first student of Vidya Bharati, the Chief Minister emphasized the organization's success in preserving national ideals.
He also honored numerous athletes for their remarkable sports achievements and commended Vidya Bharati's pivotal role in contributing to the sports sector.
CM Yogi remarked on Vidya Bharati's accomplishments, noting that the organization has evolved into a significant influence in reinforcing India's cultural heritage.
Praising the athletes from Vidya Bharati, he highlighted their contributions to the nation at both national and international stages.
He mentioned that athletes from Vidya Bharati have earned accolades for India in prestigious events like the Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, Olympics, and Paralympics. Athletes such as Olympian Padmashree Sudha Singh, Nishad Kumar, Shaili Singh, and Adesh Singh have all originated from this institution.
"Before 2017, Uttar Pradesh struggled, but over the last 8.5 years, it has transformed into the second-largest economy in the country and is on its way to becoming number one," he said, eliciting applause from the audience.
