Complaint Against JD(S) MLA G.T. Deve Gowda in MUDA Case Filed with Karnataka Lokayukta
Mysuru, Jan 11 (NationPress) Petitioner Snehamayi Krishna has lodged a complaint with the Karnataka Lokayukta, asserting that senior JD(S) MLA G.T. Deve Gowda utilized his influence for the illegal allotment of sites to his daughter and son-in-law.

Mysuru, Jan 11 (NationPress) The petitioner in the MUDA case, Snehamayi Krishna, has submitted a complaint to the Karnataka Lokayukta on Saturday, claiming that senior JD(S) MLA G.T. Deve Gowda "exerted influence" for the illegal allotment of sites to his daughter and son-in-law.

The petitioner has requested the Mysuru Lokayukta SP to investigate this matter, identify all individuals implicated in the case, and initiate appropriate legal measures.

In the ongoing investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, along with his wife Parvathy and brother-in-law, has been named as an accused in the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) case.

According to Snehamayi Krishna, "JD(S) MLA Deve Gowda has created fraudulent documents related to government land, with the case currently pending in the Karnataka High Court. He secured six sites allocated in the name of one Chowdaiah in a 50:50 ratio. Among these, two sites measuring 50x80 were registered in the names of his daughter D. Annapurna and son-in-law G.M. Vishweshwaraiah."

The petitioner insists on a thorough investigation into these allotments.

The complaint states, "In the Record of Rights, Tenancy, and Crops (RTC) for Survey Number 154 of Devanur village, Kasaba Hobli, Mysuru Taluk, the 9th column lists Jawarayya, K. Borayya, Choudayya, Puttannayya, and Gangadhara as joint account holders of 3.38 acres of land. The 11th column indicates that this land is governed by the Urban Land Ceiling Act, confirming it as government property."

"Since the land in Survey number 154 falls under the Urban Land Ceiling Act, has it been acquired by the government, or is it exempt? If exempt, why is there still a reference in the RTC? Was the land acquired, and if so, to whom was compensation paid? Has the authority developed a layout on this land? When was the layout constructed?" Inquired Snehamayi Krishna, calling for an investigation into these matters.

"From my findings, it appears that fraudulent documents were fabricated, resulting in substantial losses to the MUDA. The officials involved in this deceitful allocation must be brought to light," he asserted.
