Los Angeles, Sep 7 (NationPress) Hollywood actor Jeremy Renner, who narrowly escaped a tragic incident involving a 14,000-pound snow plow, has revealed how the ensemble cast of his much-anticipated film, ‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery’, played a crucial role in his recovery.
The unfortunate accident took place on New Year's Day 2023 while Renner was attempting to protect his nephew from danger. Although he has previously discussed his arduous recovery journey, reports ‘Variety’.
He emphasized the significance of the cast’s support during this challenging time, as it marked the first film he worked on following the accident.
In an interview with ‘Variety’, he expressed, “There’s a lot of support, man. It’s wonderful to have it. There’s such a sense of community and camaraderie, especially in a project like this. To me, it doesn’t even feel like a movie; it’s more akin to a stage play. We are constantly together, even during performances. When you’re in front of a camera with 15 others, you build a unique bond. It brings back memories of stage acting. It feels fantastic to return and be embraced by the job I cherish, alongside truly amazing people.”
‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery’ is the third installment in the series, featuring stars such as Daniel Craig, Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church.
According to ‘Variety’, the film is set to premiere on September 6 at the TIFF, with a release planned for December 12 on Netflix.
Rian Johnson has written, directed, and produced this third chapter, continuing his creative role from the previous two films, which also featured Craig’s iconic detective, Benoit Blanc.
