The committee includes the following leaders: Amanchi Krishna Mohan, Shaik Mastan Vali, Merajothu Surya Nayak, Udatha Venkata Rao Yadav, Syed Javeed Anwar, and Arigela Aruna Kumari.
Meanwhile, APCC president Y. S. Sharmila has criticized the one-year governance of the NDA in the state, calling it a distortion of the public mandate that ended corrupt and chaotic rule.
In a statement on ‘X’, Sharmila claimed the coalition government has abandoned its ‘Super Six’ promises. “They have stalled development, citing debts, and have limited public welfare due to a lack of funds,” she remarked.
Sharmila alleged that the NDA government has burdened citizens with increased electricity tariffs. She questioned the fulfillment of promises made by the Centre in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.
“The state government has failed to pursue the special category status promised by the Centre. The BJP’s betrayal in reducing the height of the Polavaram project went unchallenged by the state government,” Sharmila stated.
She also highlighted that while there were promises to revive the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, 4,000 employees were laid off.
Sharmila accused the coalition of significant injustice to Muslims due to support for the Waqf Amendment Act. She declared today not as a day of public mandate but a day of betrayal for Andhra Pradesh, criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for their betrayal of the people.
In her remarks aimed at former Chief Minister and brother Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, she noted that the state is aware of who truly embodies the term ‘backstabbing’.
