Chandigarh, Aug 13 (NationPress) Haryana's Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated on Wednesday that the Congress has secured 10 Assembly seats in the state with victory margins ranging from 100 to 1,000 votes.
He remarked, "If the EVMs had any faults, the Congress wouldn't have won these seats," emphasizing the need for clarity on the matter. He urged Congress members to convey to their leader Rahul Gandhi that there is "no remedy for deceit."
During a media interaction following the Tiranga Yatra in Kurukshetra, CM Saini remarked, "Every time election results are revealed, the Congress blames the EVMs."
He noted that Congress leaders had claimed that if Narendra Modi were to secure a third term as Prime Minister, the Constitution would be at risk. "However, the electorate rejected their baseless claims and re-elected Modi for a third consecutive term. In Haryana, the BJP also retained power for the third time," he asserted.
CM Saini stated that the Congress has exhausted its legitimate issues and is now agitated. "Having ruled the country for 55 years, the Congress is unable to cope with the rapid advancements made under BJP governance. Modi has eradicated corruption and focused on the welfare of the underprivileged," he added.
According to CM Saini, the Prime Minister has provided Ayushman cards, constructed toilets in every household, ensured ration distribution to the needy, and delivered gas cylinders to poor families as part of the Ujjwala Yojana.
"The Congress is dissatisfied with the BJP government's initiatives for the underprivileged. Instead of endorsing progress, they persist in misleading the public with falsehoods. However, citizens are now astutely aware of the Congress' untruths," he pointed out.
He further commented on the division caused by political ambition, stating, "The people of India suffered the trauma of Partition just a day before Independence, resulting in countless families being torn apart. For the first time since Independence, Prime Minister Modi has genuinely recognized the pain experienced by those affected by Partition."
CM Saini concluded, "We must commemorate the millions who endured this tragedy, hence he initiated the observance of August 14 as ‘Partition Horrors Remembrance Day’ (Vibhajan Vibhishika Smriti Diwas).
