Patna, March 19 (NationPress) A heartbreaking event transpired on Thursday morning in Bharwara village, located under the Singhwara police station jurisdiction, where a husband and wife tragically drowned in a pond, leaving the community in utter disbelief. As per police reports, Hasrat Parveen (40) reportedly jumped into the Panpihi pond in a suicide attempt, prompting her husband, Sanaullah (45), to leap in after her. Unfortunately, both succumbed to the depths of the water.
Local residents alerted authorities and sought assistance in rescuing the couple, as neither was proficient in swimming.
With the aid of divers, the Singwada police retrieved both bodies and arranged for post-mortem examinations.
