New Delhi, Oct 4 (NationPress) The President of Delhi BJP, Virendra Sachdeva, took the opportunity on Saturday to acknowledge the remarkable efforts of the workers who played a significant role in the construction of the BJP's new city unit building, as informed by a party representative.
A special event titled "Workers' Felicitation Ceremony" was held to recognize the unwavering dedication, hard work, and commitment of all those involved in the creation of the newly constructed office building for the BJP's Delhi unit, the representative elaborated.
During the ceremony, which was presided over by Sachdeva, BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) B.L. Santhosh awarded certificates of appreciation to the workers and colleagues for their contributions.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra also lauded the workers for their efficient, robust, and aesthetically pleasing construction.
Attendees included Pawan Rana, the Delhi BJP General Secretary (Organisation), MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Building Committee member Yogendra Chandolia, State General Secretary Vishnu Mittal, Treasurer Satish Garg, Suman Kumar Gupta, Office In-charge Brajesh Rai, and Amit Gupta.
Sachdeva emphasized that the diligent efforts of the laborers form the true foundation of this new establishment for the BJP family. He expressed that their contributions will always be cherished.
Earlier, on September 29, Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially inaugurated the new office of the Delhi BJP. He reflected on the significant contributions made by the party's city workers during critical moments, such as assisting Partition refugees, advocating for public rights during the Emergency, and protecting Sikhs during the 1984 riots.
Highlighting the achievements of the Delhi BJP government in meeting the expectations of the populace after regaining power following a 27-year hiatus, he asserted that the vision of 'Viksit Bharat, Viksit Delhi' can only be realized through united efforts of the government and the party.
PM Modi commended the initiatives led by the Rekha Gupta-led Delhi government to provide housing for slum-dwellers, enhance healthcare facilities, introduce e-buses, and clean the Yamuna.
He urged Delhi BJP workers to ensure that every citizen benefits from the GST reduction and encouraged city BJP leaders to celebrate all festivals, promoting Delhi as a 'Mini-India' that embodies cultural diversity.
"It is vital for unity to foster patriotism through the celebration of festivals from all states in Delhi," he concluded.
