New Delhi, Sep 5 (NationPress) In a proactive measure, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and city BJP President Virendra Sachdeva convened on Friday to develop a comprehensive strategy aimed at gathering flood relief supplies from the community and ensuring they reach those in need, thereby enhancing the efforts of governmental agencies.
As the Yamuna River surpassed the 207 meter threshold, flooding numerous low-lying regions, the Chief Minister called for the involvement of party workers to broaden the scope of relief initiatives.
Following the meeting, CM Gupta shared on X, “Today, a significant meeting took place at the Delhi BJP office led by State President @Virend_Sachdeva ji, where we assessed the flood situation in Delhi and throughout the nation, alongside our relief measures.”
